Prophetic Traditions
مَا مِنْ مَلِكٍ إِلاَّ وَاللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَعَزُّ مِنْهُ
“There is no king except that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, is mightier than him.”
Allah is Al-Qaahir — He subdues and overpowers all creation, and no ruler or tyrant can escape His grasp.
Scholarly Insights
Al-Qaahir is the one who subdues all of creation. Every created being is subdued before Him — compelled, yielding, unable to resist His decree. The heavens, the earth, the stars, the mountains — all are subdued before His majesty.
Supplications
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Hasbuna Allahu wa ni'ma al-wakeel
“Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.”
