سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
“Glory be to Allah and praise Him, as many times as the number of His creation, to His satisfaction, to the weight of His Throne, and to the extent of His words.”
The Prophet ﷺ taught this dhikr to show the immeasurable greatness of Allah that surpasses all human comprehension.
Scholarly Insights
Al-Kabeer is the One who is greater than everything. His greatness encompasses His essence, His attributes, and His actions. Nothing in creation can compare to His greatness.
Al-Kabeer is the One who possesses absolute greatness and magnificence. He is greater than everything, and all of creation is small and insignificant before Him.
Supplications
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
Allahu akbaru kabeera, wal-hamdulillahi katheera, wa subhan Allahi bukratan wa aseela
“Allah is the Greatest, much praise is for Allah, and glory be to Allah in the morning and evening.”
