وَأَنْتَ الْبَاطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دُونَكَ شَيْءٌ
“And You are the Hidden, and there is nothing beyond You.”
Al-Batin is the One whose essence is hidden from our senses, yet His existence is undeniable through His signs.
Scholarly Insights
Al-Batin means He is close and near, knowing every secret, every hidden thought, every concealed intention. Nothing is hidden from the Hidden One.
Al-Batin is hidden from the senses but manifest through His signs. Eyes cannot perceive Him, but hearts can know Him. He is hidden in His closeness and close in His hiddenness.
Supplications
اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَادِي
Allahumma aslih li dini alladhi huwa 'ismatu amri, wa aslih li dunyaya allati fiha ma'ashi, wa aslih li akhirati allati fiha ma'adi
“O Allah, rectify for me my religion which is the safeguard of my affairs, rectify for me my worldly life in which is my livelihood, and rectify for me my Hereafter to which is my return.”
